What the people of Delhi needed was a place not too far from home where they could go for a night or two and have a gala time. What the people of Gurgaon needed was a place they could hang out, call their club. The solution was offered by the Ansal Group in the form of the Palms Country Club. Located in Gurgaon, The Palms boasts of its very own Geoffrey's and Oriental Bloom restaurants, in addition to all that would be expected from any routine club in the form of swimming pools, pool tables and other infinite recreational activities. Most of the services are for members only. Music nights, food festivals, plays, dances, etc. are a regular feature of this club. They even have many rooms for guests who wish to stay for a couple of nights and words cannot do justice to the rooms that they have. I had the
good fortune of staying in 'Palm 1' which is their equivalent of a presidential suite. It was huge, very well decorated and even the bathroom was jaw-droppingly pretty. Basically, it's a very nice place to be at over the weekend or for just a couple of hours.
